Hello everybody, I am already a MikroTik user, I have been using RB750GL at work for some time. Now I want to get one to my house, I want one with integrated wifi also. I was looking the web and found RB951G-2HnD, also I noticed that there is AC models coming this year.
The problem is that I am getting the router from outside (someone is coming from a place where he can find MikroTik routers, there are not availble in my country) and I am getting the router in the next 2 months. I want to know if it is worth waiting for the hAP AC or would I be happy with the RB951G-2HnD.
I love my rb951g-2hnd unit, but I’m also eagerly awaiting one of the new hAP AC units as well. You don’t give much detail on why either unit would benefit you, so it’s hard to say if you should wait or not.
Sorry If I didnt give much details, today I still have a normal TP-Link router, Wireless N, working good.
I think I do not own any AC device now, and upgrading to the new tecnhology everything will cost money, specially the laptops that still do not have AC wireless cards. I am thinking about getting the RB951G-2HND.
Can you tell me if the Wireless is good? specially the coverage and strength. Also is it a stable router?
I get great signal and coverage on my RB951G unit. Even when I walk out to the sidwalk, I have the strongest signal compared to my neighbors.
