My query is this: I have the v.3 dude and I want to extend the waiting time in order to discover computers that have a length of more than 500ms pings, and I do not find them to discover yet to be. Do you know if there is any option to change this?.
If your only interested in ping I think you could just go modify the probe “ping”, change the retry interval to 2000 instead of 1000 or maybe even 3000 since you are saying that your pings are very lengthy ~500ms and the dude is known to have inacurate ping times.
SNMP timeouts are controlled on the global settings the submap settings or device itself.
