Wake-On-Lan via WINBOX and console

Hello!

I am working with diffirent kinds of routerboard with RouterOS and I need Wake-On-Lan feature in Tools option (for example, like Ping or other). I have a minirouter which works as PPTP-server and allows me to be connected to VPN. I have a remote host which connected to PBX for administration on VPN. This host is usually sleeps and waits when I send WOL-command to wake-up the host. I want :

  1. Connect to PPTP-server.
  2. Send WOL-packet from Winbox to wake-up the PBX’s computer.
  3. Work with PBX’s computer.
  4. Shutdown the PBX’ computer.

I think WOL will be very usefull not for me only.

I know I can send WOL-command from a PPTP-client computer after connection have been established but I need WOL will be integraded WINBOX or (better) console.

How do you think?

As far as I know, there is no plans to add WoL as RouterOS function.

As I know WOL function is very simple to be realized in program code. I would glad to see WOL-feature in future releases of RouterOS as soon as it is posible.
