I post a while back (http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/allowing-access-to-gmail-imap-smtp-servers/39177/1) about allowing Gmail POP/SMTP access through the walled garden and two of the forum users were very helpful.
Today, when I got in, I wanted to change the IP address on Walled Garden > IP List > Gmail SMTP Entry, and even when I changed the IP address in the IP list entry, the actual entry in Walled Garden din’t change at all! Even after deleting the IP list entry, entering it again, etc., the actual entry is still staying at the old IP address.
I’ve attached a screen shot to make it more clear what I’m saying… the 74.xxx address is the one I want, and the 209.xxx is the old one. As you can see, even though in the IP List, I’ve changed the IP, the Walled Garden entry still has the old address.
Any ideas? I am new to Mikrotik, so maybe I’m missing something completely. I get the feeling that if I were using the command line, instead of the GUI, it might be easier to manage this…
