I wanted to ask your opinion in the following setup.
I wanna deploy a metropolitan free wifi hotspot and i wanna know whats best setup from the following.
it will be a low client network(about 200)
setup 1.
Set the hotspot proxy in the office, connected to mikrotik with 2x5Ghz wlans to sectorize load in ex. east and west.
assume at least 3 connected client APs in each sector(east-west) to provide wifi access in areas.
p2p shaping and layer7 throttling in main office router which is hotspot proxy.
or
setup2.
Office with just internet gateway connected to mikrotik with 2x5Ghz wlans to sectorize load in ex. east and west
and each connected client AP act as separate hotspot proxy each in different subnet with all qos, p2p and throttling rules?
I know that setup2 can be more efficient and resource friendly instead of all load to the main router in setup1.
PS. in setup 1 will a RB433 be sufficient?
PS2. clients are all RB133
