WAN Load Balance question. WAN2 only to operate once WAN1 reaches X mbps..

I’ve seen this discussed somewhere in the forum (or a MUM) but I have not been able to track it down.

I have successfully implemented WAN Load Balancing across 3 ISPs, with certain VLANs going out specific WANs and certain VLANs going out all 3 WANs.

My next goal is to try a scenario where WAN2 will only be used when WAN1 reaches say 100mbps.

Can anyone recommend a lead to start my research, either past forum links or MUM presentations or direct guides. Thank you.

You can find a presentation on this here: https://youtu.be/67Dna_ffCvc

While the presentation itself is quite old, everything in it is fully applicable to what you need

I usually link to this site, great presentation by some Thomas guy… Looks older than the guy in the video though. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

(Question to self: Why are there so many MT geniuses in the baltic/slavic area???)
