WANNA install dhcp 4 one user only !!

hello
i have mikrotik ppope . with out dhcp 4 client and today iwanna 2 setup it for one user only cause he want to use internet 4 torman machine

  • isetup new range
    1st add ip – address --new add ---- 192.168.10.1/30 from lan
    then i go to ip – firewal–
    add chain scrnat
    dest address :192.168.10.2
    action = masquerade
    then i put ip for this user
    192.168.10.2
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.10.1
    any dns
    when iput this ip in any pc this worked good
    but if i put this ip in torman machine dont work ithink it dosent work cause i must setup dhcp to work in torman machine so iwanna know how i can setup dhcp for 1 user only iwanna to give him
    192.168.10.2
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.10.1
    form my dhcp and any one from network cant take this ip or any ip from my dhcp sry im not good in english

Hi ;
you say you have pppoe .
do you mean you get the internet from your ISP through pppoe-client ??? .
any way you didn’t configure the dhcp-server yet
go to IP , dhcp-server and then configure it .
it will ask you about the ip pool , choose from 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.2
and i think that all you need
with best regards .

Just a hint:: watch those netmasks. Insure they are all the same for that localnet. I already see a /30 and a /24 (255.255.255.0) there.

ty all i solve it i install dhcp 192.168.10.0/31
and go to lesse and add new one put ip and make and click scr mac active it now my pc iwanna to give him ip take ip auto
