Want hotspot to allow all

How do I set hotspot to allow all be default.

until I get things fully converted I just want to allow anyone who connects access to the net.

thanks in advance.

Joe

I think you can use the walled garden feature to allow access to any site even though the user is not authenticated

You could set an “allow” rule to any site where destination is NOT (click the box) abcdefg.com . Then they could access any site but that one.

Update***

This works OK for web-browsing…

However, all other ports are still blocked. SMTP,FTP, Etc.

is there away to just allow all untill, we can get users set up and are ready to impliment hotspot fully???

Thanks

Joe

hello, the best advice i can give u is that u can create a test username and password which can be allowed to be used by multiple users, then enable authentication by cookies.

this will make the user to be able to login automatically without dredirected hotspot page …until the cookies expires, he wont be asked for user name and pass.

Or, if you are using RADIUS for hotspot authentication, you could setup your RADIUS to accept all Access-Requests and use a MAC-only login template that transmits the users MAC address as username, for example.

So they won’t have to enter anything, but WILL be authenticated, so everything will work through hotspot…

erase all the rule in dst-nat…
and add the address u want to accept in forward…

i used it n its worked fine for me, but if u want to connect to winbox u need to login in login page.
