Hi i have 4 mikrotik rb433’s that is connected to each other using r5h mini cards. I have successfully setup routing. But now i want to setup router1 as ntp server. I am unable to ping router1 from router4 using /tools/ping or traceroute. But can ping router 1 from router 2.
If you cannot ping all the routers, you have not set up routing. Do you want help with the routing or NTP? Do you have a dynamic routing protocol? or static routes?
Hi there yes i would like some help please. i have setup static routes.

thanx for the help
I have followed the example on http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/OSPF-examples
Now i am able to ping ntp server(rb750g), The firewall logs shows that the link is active(port 123) but stil does not update the clock.
Im also getting is ospf info alerts in my logs.
Discarding Hello packet: mismatch in network mask
mine=255.255.255.252
remote=255.255.255.248
source=172.23.128.10
Someone told me to use 172.23.128.0/24 over my whole network.
So the links between routers run on 172.23.128.1/29 and 172.23.128.3/30 etc.
I realy hope i get a reply
