Hello, i have bought a Mikrotik RB750GL and want it to use it this way:
mikrotik as pppoe client and get the ip and dns from pppoe connection to isp and set the external ip and dns to a client on one interface without nat
router connect to the mikrotik assigned interface get dhcp set ip and this router to do the nat to connected clients
As i have an asus wifi router and want to use ctf level 2 with FA(flow accelerator) on it, and it does not support fa on pppoe connection, only dhcp and static so i want to use the mikrotik as a pppoe client for it to get direct external ip.
I have seen that zyxel names this ‘transparent bridge’ to use it with the same purpose to give a client on lan the external ip of pppoe. But haven’t found a way how to do this on mikrotik so i come to ask your help.
