wAP ac cable routing

Ok, this is probably the stupidest question I’ve asked on any forum ever. I’ve got my wAP ac mounted on a pole, my network cable plugged in, everything up, testing, running great. Um, how do I route the cable into the box? Am I supposed to drill an access hole? Maybe I’m just really tired and missing the obvious. How do I get the cable through the bottom so that I can put the cover plate on? The instruction say to guide the cable through the opening, under the pole mounting section (https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/UM/wAP+ac-series), but I don’t know what opening?

Also, if I have to drill out, am I going to have to cut the end of my cable and put a new end on it? And will it fit a Cat 6A cable, nothing looks that big?

They change the concept a couple of times,
If i remember correctly,
On the removable lid, you can break-off on of four thingamajig’s =)

It does have four thingamajigs, and from the inside they almost look like break-away tabs, but the outside isn’t scored. I can take it out with a drill if that’s the correct entry port. I just wanted to make sure before I start modding the case. And those tabs are not nearly big enough for Cat 6A.

Sooo..
I don’t have any new wAP lying around…

I tried it with a Wireless-Wire…
I am pretty sure you have to break-off on of the four thingamajig’s
Using a Knife or a drill could be a better idee then to break them away!
I’ll give you that =)

you shouldn’t have to CUT your cable !

You should not have to use a drill to brake out one of those little plastic tabs.
