wAP ac cannot connect to ethernet

Hi all,

I have 2 wAp ac wireless APs and I set them as managed by CAPsMAN. In the beginning they work properly, after several hours they 2 all suddenly POWER-OFF and no longer get connected to ethernet. I hold the reset button for 15 seconds to carry out netinstall and expect them to get reconnected but they are still offline. Winbox cannot find them.

What would I do now?

Finally, the issue got resolved. The last stable version (7.11.2) of netinstall failed to find wAp ac, while the last Beta version (7.12beta9) successfully found and rewrote RouteOS. 7.11.2 stable probably may not work properly on some products, at least including wAP ac. wAP ac should avoid upgrading to the firmware of 7.11.2 stable.

Unfortunately, 7.11.2 has been reported causing issues on netinstall for quite some users here.
Normal operation should be fine though, it’s just something with netinstall that seems to be ‘off’.

Not only netinstall but also RouteOS. I clicked “Provision” and “Upgrade” in “Remote CAP” and all APs shut down and failed to reboot. The RouteOS seemed like flying.

I am using 7.11.2 just fine on capsman setup using RB5009, quite a bit of cAP AX, some AX3 and 1 AX Lite.
Also using it on solitary AC3s with and without ww2, hap, map, maplite, ac2, CRS326, …

So I doubt there really is an issue with that version which causes this.

Netinstall, yes.
Normal operation, not that I know of. Or this place would be swamped with reports.

Tried to reproduce this with cAP ax and ax3 as controller but i couldn’t reproduce this problem.
