Maybe its quite simple but i don´t know how to solve that problem. Recently bought a WAP-Ax (wAPG-5HaxD2HaxD). Now I need to know how to insert the Cable from the bottom. Do I have to drill through the metal base or break one of the lids from the bottom lid to insert an network cable? How can I protect the device from humidity when I have to drill or break something or seal the area arround the cable? The manual doesn´t help with that problem. I don´t wanna use the option to insert the cable from the back.
Sorry for my bad english and thanks for any suggestions.
Cable comes from the inside. There is a break-away square. Your images show the wrong place, that is only when you need cable to come from the outside. Something like the image is correct.
I only recently installed one of these; in my case, the cables also run downwards, which means the white lids have to be breaked off (1st picture). The network cables are so thick that they end up providing a seal against moisture.
No drilling is required. These are the mounting locations for the LTE antenna connectors. For twisted-pair cables, you can either cut a hole in the cover or cut a hole in the back panel.
