wAP-LTE and automotive connector

Hello, i have two questions about the automotive connector of the wAP-LTE :
1/ What input voltage range is support on this connector (9-30V as the Jack) to power the router?
2/ What is the usage of the Aux-In Aux-out/control cables ?

thanks for your help

Great, thanks a lot Normis

Hello,

in the current Quick Guide is written that the Aux-in and Aux-out are reserved for future use. I can’t find any information about the usage of this Pins…
When will this feature be expected to be supported?

Request for information, thank’s!

Best regards
Thomas

Any news about usage of the aux port?
We would really like to use it to command a relay.
Thanks.

So there is no new information about these pins?

So, any updates on this after 1 year?

Any updates after some more years?

I am also interested in this input output automotive connector. Maybe there is a PlugIn for logging, and start a script if input signal comes (to send an sms), and toogle the output if there is vpn online or LTE network connected… only this (little piece of software) is missing, then these are the best devices i know (for my usw…)!

you can create own scripting… you have sheduler… and many option to do that.
About Power Plug for that:

This should answer for all question.

No, thats not enough:-) I mean the “Automotive connector. Pinout: A - reserved for future use (orange), B - reserved for future use (blue),”, i read that this was one INPUT and one OUTPUT, and I WISH, that i can use them in a script… (example call an script if the input comes, and set the output if vpn is connected… with scripts…)

reserved for future - now is the future!
+1 for aux in, aux out port request

Then do a request to support@mikrotik.com , not here.
