I as just looking at the WAP LTE kit which looks like it might be a good solution for our countryside office (in the UK)
(it does, however seem to be impossible to get … from the posts about problems I wonder if if has gone back to engineering for some fixes?)
Ideally, I’d like to use the LTE radio as a WAN/Internet link back to our main office router (mikrotik RB750) to act as a failover for our 2 DSL lines.
As the WAP LTE needs to be placed outside, i’d also like to use the wifi part of it to provide outdoor network access, but via the RB750, not via the LTE modem directly
in essence, can i turn a WAP LTE into both an LTE modem on our network as well as an outdoor AP, but with all the routing and load sharing logic going via another mikrotik router?
