We’re installing 60G in bridge mode between 3 buildings on campus.
I received 3 wAP-60G AP devices (I thought I had the boss order 2ea wAP-60G and 1ea wAP-60G-AP).
Is it possible to use the AP as the client as well as the access point? Or should I tell the boss to send 2 back and get the client boxes?
Sure is. It’s licensed to be an AP. But you can configure it as a client.
Thanks - will dig some more into the configuration options.
The wAP60G is a wireless access point (AP) designed primarily to provide wireless network access. When used as a client It connects to an existing wireless network. to expand or connect networks rather than creating new ones This is useful in situations such as connecting devices to a network where there is no direct connection. or integrating a larger network setup.
