wAPR-2nD LTE - registration denied with new modem QUECTEL EC2004-EU

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with a wAPR-2nD: using the WINDTRE sim it does not register with the new QUECTEL EC2004-EU modem, returning the “registration denied” error.
The same SIM, however, registers correctly by replacing the internal modem with the old R11e-LTE.
No problem with VODAFONE sim: it can register with both the old and the new modem.
The routerboard is updated to version v7.15.3 (but the error occurred with all previous 7.x versions).
The QUECTEL modem has been updated to the latest version EC200AEUHAR01A19M16.
Attached is the file with the LOGs relating to the QUECTEL+WINDTRE configuration.

Suggestions? Advice?

The fact your Vodafone SIM is working on both modems, proves there is no HW problem.
So there must be a config problem using WINDTRE SIM on the new modem.

You can try with latest 7.16rc version, there have been some LTE related improvements in there.

If that also doesn’t work, best to contact support.

It works! with version 7.16rc4 Testing registered immediately.
Now we are waiting for the Stable version before officially using it into production.

JFYI, in Mikrotikish “stable” has a somehow different meaning than “production ready”.
I think it is one of those language subtleties that are lost in translation.
