Watchdog and manual disagrees

Hi there,

I’m trying to setup the watchdog to automatically generate and email a supout.rif file to me. According to the manual it should be possible to leave the send-email-from and send-smtp-server fields blank and in doing so allow it to use the settings from /tool e-mail. However this is not possible with the Winbox GUI with 6.38.5. It does not allow me to leave those fields empty.

I tried doing it through the CLI as well, and could not even clear the send-smtp-server field.

You need to fill out your email settings in

/tool e-mail
set address=smtp.gmail.com from=<mail@gmail.com> password=abc1234 port=587 start-tls=yes user=mail@gmail.com

I have filled that in. I am using SMTP elsewhere.
