Today I had 2 hangups of one mikrotik, that has been recently upgraded to 2.8.16…and watchdog didnt reset it…
Usualy, we didnt have that kind of problem with it, watchdog would do its thingie, and it was working all ok again…
If you are not using RouterBOARD systems, then only software watchdog is available, which may fail in some cases, mostly related to hardware malfunction or powering problems
