Watchguard XTM 21 disappearing mid-scan

Hi,

We have a site with a Watchguard XTM 21 which has SNMP setup to send the SNMP info to the server at our site which is running The DUde. When we map the remote site the Watchguard XTM 21 appears until about half way through the scan then just vanishes. When the scan ends it’s not on the device list or the map anywhere.

Any ideas why this would be ?

This has to do with what services are allowed to be automatically added to which device types. Edit your device types and allow some services to be “allowed” for the device type that is being discovered.
