Water getting into basebox 2s and 5s

Is anyone else having this issue? We deploy hundreds per year and get probably a 5 percent failure rate. We have the covers on yes and they are installed correctly yes. That said we have no idea if the water is coming through the led cover or the RPSMA o rings. Any ideas would help.

Reminds me old netmetal issue: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/warning-netmetal-5-2xrpsma-2000mw-are-not-weatherproof/82796/1

These RPSMA connectors are covered by hood so the water shouldn’t really get to it, neither through it. Sticker seems like reasonable culprit.
Since you have so many devices with reasonably high failure rate, I guess you can experiment on few failed units with spraying/soaking them in colored water to see where it goes in…

Hi guys we have similar issues. But in our case we think it is condensation. So weather this year was mixing between cold and warm and this gave us few device dead because of this. Not sure if this a case of condensation, or leaky leds. We needs to be checked.
