WDS Experiencie using a single channel at 2.4G

Hi everybody,
did you have any experience using the same channel in 3 antennas in the same tower at 2.4?

I read in other topic that it is possible to set all the antennas on the same channel, all wds’d together and it works good without any interference.

Did you have any idea about how many CPEs it is possible to connect in this kind of configuration?

I really appreciate any comment or suggestion you have.

Thank you
Regards

hello guys plz help me out
i m using 2 sector antennas 180 degree each with ubnt bullet m2hp.
one is on channel 9 and 2nd is on channel 11 on 2.4ghz 20mhz.
but i notice they are interfering each other and getting low coverage range.
one antenna signal also comes to others antennas side in 300 to 400 meters.
suggest me best channels to use which dont interfare and extend range.

You must use channels 1 - 6 -11 to avoid overlap and a physical separation between antennas less than 1 meter

can’t really be done well unless GPS synched. and having the antennas isolated.

Alternatively,

and use a good quality 2.4ghz card…

just a thought.

3 sectors same channel with wds = bad idea…

How are you sure the interference is from your own second radio?

Before choosing 1, 6 or 11 as suggested, you have to consider other space users, those channel might be worst, it is not only 1, 6, and 11 that does not overlap, does 2 and 8 overlap? NO, so “rajamani779” the best practices is to chane to another one and check the snr of your clients, if it is ok leave or, else try another one.

The problem of interference in some area is a continous one, when you change it gets better and after others have adjusted theirs, you may be affected again and will be required to change as well.

you can also use other features like frequecy snooper to see what is going on.
