I’ m also had major difficulties after replacing wrt54gs with cm9 radio.. my issues were mainly much shorter range in high noise environment (clients at 4km+ not associating at all). Also I had several wds clients (braodcom also) which “were driven mad” in a way they needed a cold reset (since they refused to take ssh connections (using OpenWrt) also when revrted to old config the problem remained so I had to reboot them.. gonna have another try with 5006X based cards in max 24hrs time
