Hello guys!
First of all, this is my wireless scheme:
The APs are Mikrotik Groove A-2Hn with Routeros level 4 (1 WLAN Interface and 1 Omni-Antenna).
Every AP run the same SSID and Band with no encryption. The APs should be layer2 switched so I can reach/ping every AP from the router.
So here my questions:
- Will this scheme work with this equipment or do I need boards with 2 wireless interfaces (one for mesh/ap connectivity and one for the clients)?
- How should I configure the APs regarding Wireless-Mode, WDS (static or dynamic), Mesh and frequency?
My thoughts: every AP on same frequency eg.: 2412
AP1:
bridge1 with ports(eth1,wlan1), mode:ap-bridge, wds:dynamic-mesh on mesh-interface, fixed IP address on bridge1
the same config on the other APs…
Will this work?
