WDS or wlan1 problem?

hi

I have problem with WDS connection between MT (2.8.23) and linux (with hostap) .

Linux is master of wds connection, mt is a slave:
both are on same channel and have the same essid, but MT log shows

[...]
jan/27/2005 23:11:12 wlan1: 00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx disconnected
jan/27/2005 23:11:12 wlan1: 00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx connected
jan/27/2005 23:11:20 wlan1: 00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx disconnected
jan/27/2005 23:11:20 wlan1: 00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx connected
jan/27/2005 23:12:02 wlan1: 00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx disconnected
[...]

(mac address is from linux wds)

What’s wrong ?

my config on wds1:

 0 R name="wds1" mtu=1500 mac-address=00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx arp=enabled
       disable-running-check=no master-interface=wlan1
       wds-address=00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx

and wlan1 config :

 0 R name="wlan1" mtu=1500 mac-address=00:02:xx:xx:xx:xx arp=enabled
      disable-running-check=no interface-type=Prism prism-cardtype=200mW
      radio-name="wds-bridge" mode=ap-bridge ssid="wds-bridge" frequency=2472
      band=2.4ghz-b scan-list=default-ism rate-set=default
      supported-rates-b=1Mbps,2Mbps,5.5Mbps,11Mbps supported-rates-a/g=""
      basic-rates-b=1Mbps basic-rates-a/g="" max-station-count=2007
      tx-power=23 periodic-calibration=default fast-frames=no dfs-mode=none
      antenna-mode=ant-a wds-mode=static wds-default-bridge=bridge1
      wds-ignore-ssid=no update-stats-interval=disabled
      default-authentication=no default-forwarding=no hide-ssid=no
      802.1x-mode=none disconnect-timeout=0s on-fail-retry-time=100ms

Cards are senao nl 2511 cd plus ext 2.
and all are in bridge1, bridge has no ip (only ether1 has ip)

Could anybody help with that ??

thx

i guess i must set another MT at wds end and make EoIP …

Is EoIP better than WDS ???

I think WDS is more bandwidth efficient.

maybe but logs in mt are not good

anyone knows why that card is connecting and disconnecting?
