WDS problem colubris

Hi!

I’ve set up a bridge from MT433AH/R52/R52 to a colubris MAP-320R AP with WDS behind a zyxel router

5Ghz Link to Colibris and 2,4Ghz AP. bridged with WDS

Ping OK - internal/external and ip and dn
Bandwitdh test 25Mb

Webbrowsing works only sometimes and takes up to 1min before they start loading

I have an error in the MT log that says something like
“recieved instruction …, don’t understad”
“XX:XX.XX:XX:XX@… AP mode wants WDS”

The WDS MAC# are correct since the link goes down if I alter one MAC#

What can be the problem if I I get the message AP mode, wants WDS?

  • Not compatible with colubris MAP-320R?
  • The MAP-320R is servicing other MAP’s with WDS without any problems…

Should I try to break out the WDS from the bridge?

Do I need Routing then and how would I do that?

It turned out that Colubris isn’t compatible with MT WDS

The solution was to make a WDS slave with the Colubris
