WDS vs Repeater

Hello

Now with Mikrotik you can set up wireless repeater by setting:

  1. ]two devices in AP WDS mode
  2. ]setting up repeater (client + ap)

From my knoledge and understanding Pros for WDS is:

  • no problems with all chipsets

but PROS for Repeater:

  • no compatibility problem between 11n and WDS[/list]

Are there any other advantages/disadvantages for using either of them ?
