I have this scenario and I think web cache is useless. Do you think so? What do you suggest to take advantage of web cache?
I have a 1024kbps dedicated internet connection
512kbps for Users Type1
128kbps for Users Type2
384kbps for Users Type3
I´m using PCQ and web cache is enabled.
In the worst of the cases my users are using 100% of the internet connection. If I have web cache enabled or not, it’s the same.
Suppose that users are using 100% the bandwidth assigned. And some pages are downloaded from web cache, suppose 10%.
If users currently downloading at 1024kbps, and 10% corresponds to webcache, internet connection is 90% used. There are no cases where internet connection is used at 100% and webcache used at the same time. That’s why I say that in this scenario webcache is useless.
So I was thinking if there is same way to exclude webcache from PCQ and give unlimited data rate¿?
If what users are downloading are stored in webcache, download these objects at lan speed. Is it possible?
