Web Proxy Errors ??

I’ve been seeing these type of errors lately in my log from the web proxy. Can someone explain to me the significance of them?

Format your proxy drive.

The Proxy Drive had been previously formated correctly. The errors in the log that I have illustrated occur about once a day. When they do occur, I take the proxy-drive SD card offline, and have the RB reformat it. It does not seem to matter, as the error occur eventually again. I have tried two different microSD cards with the same result. The cards all seem to function well, but eventually the errors show up. I get the same results running the RB433AH at 680 MHz or at 800, no difference. I’m currently using ROS v3.18 (2.18) but saw the same errors using 3.17.

it could mean nothing, if there are no other problems except this entry.

what do you see in following:

/ip proxy monitor once

same problem for me… :frowning: currently i use 3.17 . I noticed that when this happens, automatic stop redirection from ip firewall nat, the clients lose conection, and the queue are freeze, for which is necessary to do a reset. After I restart, it is necessary to disable the proxy and the redirection in order that the queue limit again. identically issue on 3.13. Regards

What’s new in 3.19:

*) fixed problem - web proxy used up all router memory
if unlimited ram caching was enabled;

Install v3.20/or the lastest/ and try again :wink:

i have 3.20 and http proxy freezes, no browsing no internet but there is ping. internet works untill i disable and then re-enable it again to make internet work. :S plz this is a problem with many people.

At one of the sites on a RB433AH ROS v3.20/mipsbe I can see that 10GB web traffic has passed through the proxy in 5 days uptime, with 120MB hits sent to clients, and nobody has called in a problem and it seems to be working fine, when I check it out in WinBox. But maybe my config is good.

Since v3.20, no problems. Everything seems to be running great.
