Ok so to be able to do web redirection webproxy must be running? However even after authenticating all traffic is still going through the web proxy which is then killing my cpu for 150++ authenticated users. Is there anyway to get around this?
You need to give more details of your setup and configuration. What do you mean by “after authenticating”? How are you pushing people through the web proxy?
We have a hotspot running. The guest gets redirect to our login page to login. If I watch my cpu I see web proxy going up. However I do not have web proxy turned on. The only proxy is for the web redirection after authentincting they should not do any proxy anymore but they still do. If i turn my hotspot off then web proxy goes to nothing.
I figured it out at some point we had checked under user profile transparent proxy not sure why we did that. As soon as I unchecked it the web proxy went back down to nothing.
