In last 2 months I notice Web proxy service hang up on 10 machines. The Enabled checkbox is uncheck, word PORT is with RED … and everything other boxes are EMPTY.
Setup again … without reboot the routerboard do not make the service work !
Rebooting with Restore last configuration .. make everything work again … for few days … after that … problem again.
It is more than frustrating to stay at keyboard all the time to hunt a failure and manually reboot with restore.
I know that this should never happened but .. it happened.
Please advice if there is a script .. and how to activate it … who detect that port 8080 is down .. to restore the machine with restore the configurations ?
B> I do not fully understand the question. on RB I have enabled the Web proxy, noting written at Src. Address, port 8080, I specify parent proxy and port of our PROXY CLUSTER IP.
What version of routeros do you have?
