use web-proxy-test

or better - use web-proxy from 3.0beta4

it is no secret that web-proxy 2.9 was slow.

i tried to upgrade MT 2.9.34 to MT 2.9.38,i uploaded newer ver in router and rebooted the router but still is shows MT 2.9.34

any mistake in updating ?

Check the logs ‘log print’ for the errors after router reboot.
Probably, you have used incorrect packages, there are two types one type for RouterBOARD500/100 and another type for other systems.

Copy files to the root directory!

  1. Delete any package file on router
  2. Download packages from the web and upload once again
  3. ensure you are using x86 version
  4. As macgaiver said - ensure files are in root directory
  5. reboot

edit:
If that does not help, connect to router locally and see what does it say on reboot. Usually it says something, if there are package files on it and upgrade process is not initializing.

i tried and able to upgrade
but my purpuse was to solve web-proxy problem.
Its still there in 2.9.38 its shows cpu 100% useage.
is still bugs in web-proxy in newer version MT 2.9.38
