we are using MT-2.9.34 for network (using public IPs not natting)we ave 500 concurent client online its working fine.
whenever we enables web-proxy and redirect port-80 its start working but resources are 100% used and router gets slow(cpu 100% and RAM 70-80%)
we have 1 GB RAM and P-3-2.8GHz processor,Intel original MB.
We have also made restriction in cache to cache for ftp/MPe contents.
Check the logs ‘log print’ for the errors after router reboot.
Probably, you have used incorrect packages, there are two types one type for RouterBOARD500/100 and another type for other systems.
Download packages from the web and upload once again
ensure you are using x86 version
As macgaiver said - ensure files are in root directory
reboot
edit:
If that does not help, connect to router locally and see what does it say on reboot. Usually it says something, if there are package files on it and upgrade process is not initializing.
i tried and able to upgrade
but my purpuse was to solve web-proxy problem.
Its still there in 2.9.38 its shows cpu 100% useage.
is still bugs in web-proxy in newer version MT 2.9.38
