Web Proxy

I was running OS ver 2.9.5 with web-proxy set up and running, I tried to write rule to redirect clients traffic from port 80 to 8080 on the router to make the web-proxy transparent and after system reboot, the router was not having web-proxy again but just HTTP proxy, how do I get this web-proxy back and running.

Also I just installed an OS ver 3.1 which only has HTTP proxy, is this version not having web-proxy, how can I get the web-proxy on the ver 3.1 and running in transparent mode Thanks.

v3.x has it’s own and only proxy. there’s no choice

Thanks Chupaka for confirming the issue of OS ver 3.1, is there a way I can have my router that is running ver 2.9.5 to revert back to the good web-proxy I had been having on it. It used to have both HTTP proxy and web proxy but now it does not load the web proxy again. What can I do?

it’s not an issue. v3.x proxy works in transparent proxy mode too
