Webbox Error

I have been trying to get the webbox login working, I just can’t figure it out…
I am able to telnet and use winbox from this pc, but I can’t get in with webbox, after clicking login, it just says failed to connect.

Is there any setting, such as ACLs with regards to webbox administration?

is your server 192.168.0.1? you have erased an address bar of your browser…

same problem here, if i click on retry,it keeps asking for username/password

I noticed the same when upgraded from 3.23 to 3.24 on three different HW: the interface tab not found.

If I try to goes back webbox request new login.

On two of them (WRAPs) the root page is “quick” and I can surf around except when I select interface tab (page not found, went back on hystory and webbox asks for a new login).

At the the third HW (regular PC desktop machine) the root page is “interface” and no way to uses webbox there. Even copying+pasting another page address => new login = redirect to interface page (not found).

I have the same problem in 3.24. If I login with an incorrect username / pass, I get an error page from the router, but when I enter a correct username / pass I get a failed connection message from the browser itself. No, it’s not the users, it’s the software.

First it was Dude web that quit working (after it was working fine until a specific upgrade version), and now Webbox (which also quit working after a specific upgrade version). Please Mikrotik, I ask of you: PLEASE TEST YOUR SOFTWARE BEFORE RELEASE (supposedly that’s what their beta is for). Please please. We are paying customers.

I’m a happy costumer when stuff works, but I just have a real hard time justifying breaking something that used to work in a previous version, especially when it has worked for many versions before. If it’s a new feature then maybe I can understand a bit more, but come on guys! This has happened too many times for me when using Mikrotik products and doing upgrades (both fresh install to newer version and in-place upgrades), which are supposed to be better, more stable, yada yada.

Like I said before, Mikrotik, if you need people to write and test code, let me know. I really want to believe this is production quality, but i just don’t see that at the moment.
