Webbox not showing 10MHz and 5MHz bands

Hi guys. I’ve been gone for a couple of years, but thought I’d wade back in and give your equipment a try again. Always was impressed with its features.

I’m playing with WebBox as a tool for my installers, and I have hit a problem not reported anywhere in your forums: I cannot select a wireless 5MHz or 10MHz channel width. I’m playing with a new routerboard 411 kit from wisp-router. I’m only offered a choice of the normal, 20 MHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands.

I can use Winbox to set the bands to 5MHz or 10MHz, and the 411 connects perfectly with the AP at 5GHz-10Mhz band. But even after doing that, logging into WebBox I only get offered the full sized bands.

The command line and winbox are a little complicated for the average installer to play with in the field. For a CPE, the webbox is just right, but I cannot use it if we cannpt access the 5 & 10 Mhz channels.

Probably something very basic I’m missing here. Sorry, but I’m basically back at the beginning of the learning curve for your product.

Thanks

ummmm… anyone?

I assumed webbox should be able to set 5 MHz and 10Mhz channels. Was that a bad assumption?

webbox is not meant for full RouterOS configuration, it supports only a very limited set of things now. We will improve it over time, but right now, what you see is what you get
