Hi Guys, i’m new to microtik and i have a small hex router (non wifi) i want to use this as a switch to my private lab …simply put there is no security risk… it will be like this
Home Router > Hex > Lab.
my problem is i cannot be connected to any of the switch ports that i will create vlans on…so i need to access the webfig through the IP address my home router has given to it…and i also need it to route to the lab network so i can configure my other devices.
is it possible to open the webfig from what is essentially its public IP address (though its ofcourse private inside my house…i can have one of the switch ports on the private side on the same network just for management and set up vlans on the other 2.
any ideas?
