When I am working in the web GUI (webfig), it seems that I get kicked out every couple of minutes and have to login again. Is there a way to modify the session length? Can’t seem to find any information on this.
Thank you!

No i don’t think so… You can use Winbox though…
I don’t run Windows, but thanks for the tip.
Wine seems to work fine with Winbox on a Mac FWIW as long as the router is giving out an IP
I’ll give that a shot, thanks.
Mac WInbox works surprisingly well even with MAC address connections…

That’s interesting. I get no MAC addresses in the list, but they show up right away if the router has an IP and MAC. So I cannot configure any router that doesn’t have a default config.
Actually, for illustration purposes, I probably should not have used the ROMON window, but the standard Winbox neighbors window:

If a router has no IP address defined, the MAC address still shows up here, but the address is 0.0.0.0. You can still do a MAC login.
Note that I am using version 6.19 here because the Winbox versions released over the past few months are so generally infested with new interface problems that I have all the grief I can manage wrestling with my Windows version I have already updated, I didn’t want to pollute my Mac version as well. It’s possible the behavior you are seeing is yet one more interface problem with one of the more recent versions.
What determines that a user session is expired in webfig? I’m also seeing logouts after what seems like an exceedingly short interval. I can’t imagine that it is supposed to function this way.
I prefer to do stuff in webfig as well, and have the same issue, it gets stuck every few minutes and I have to log in again.
I found that, at least when using the brave browser, if I click on “Quick Set” on the top, and then back to “WebFig” it unstucks it.
