Not sure what happened but we upgraded to 2.9.27 from 2.9.26 yesterday. A customer called today to let us know that port 80 traffic wasn’t going through. Turning off the firewall rule to force them through the transparent proxy fixed their problem. We disabled the proxy, cleared the cache and re-enabled it and they were still having problems.
Has anyone seen this with the new upgrade?
Actually, this may be a problem with a single user’s PC. We are still looking into it.
Ok, another customer called with the same problem. So, we disabled the web cache and everyone’s happy.
Since we just upgraded our main router yesterday, I’m sure it’s due to the upgrade to 2.9.27.
believewireless, I suggest you to make support output file (when web-proxy stops working), and send it to support@mikrotik.com
i m not use mikrotik 2.9.27 yet.But .. i have same problem with u in mikrotik 2.9.6
I’m use a cache server that can handle the cache system, that if u have a lot clients.I think u can try it.Use parent ip with your cache system.
I have more better con management if tried it.
Now i upgrade into Mikrotik RouterOS 2.9.26 n now still use cache server for it.
Thanks before..
