Website suddenly unreachable

Hi

I have users at a site that suddenly (since yesterday 5pm) can’t reach their remote secure website (app)

After various tests I realized that their site could actually be reached through their backup ADSL link
(The primary link is an SDSL link)

The site can also be reached by other offices located in the same country (they also have SDSL links with the same provider)

I have asked the SDSL provider whether they can knew what could be blocking acces to the site

I can reach other http and https sites via their SDSL, just not this one

I checked the Mikrotik RB912 (6.19) router’s DNS cache and the address is valid

I ran trace routes from both links to this site (which isn’t pingable) and only the ADSL link reaches the Datacenter that is housing the webserver

Any ideas ?

Can you check that the relevant server has a path back to the SDSL endpoint?

After having pushed the SDSL provider and the datacenter
manager to come up with an explanation, this situation
resolved itself, inexplicably
