weird ping results

Hey all,

I’m getting weird ping results from a switch, it will reply back with 3 responses. I checked to see if i have a duplicate IP problem, but my ARP table and an ARP ping to that address only shows the switch. I am thinking it may be a switch problem, has anyone run into this? I’m also seeing a fair amount of packet loss from the location with said weird ping responses.

This is only happening by pinging the switch from the RouterOS, pings from the outside world (I have 1:1 dst nat rules) do not have the same behavior. Any ideas?

Do you have filter rules if yes please post it .

I would check and make sure you don’t have a loop in your switched network.
