yesterday, after testing all last betas and rc’s past months, one of my motherboards intel d865gsa would not boot after net installing rc6. It took me 5 hours to repair, since it is located on high tower - not very nice. Nevertheless, when i manage to attach monitor to it, i saw that Flash disk (128mb) is first recognized, showing booting code - first two lines, then it freezes for about 1 minute and displays - hard disk not found, please attach it somewhere else (or something like that). Tried all settings in bios about sata/pata/legacy/enhjanced modes with no success. MT guys, please fix this in next release! I never had problems installing beta’s and rc’s on that board, even now it is running 2.9.46 with no problems at boot. Unfortunately i dont have autosupport file since MT did not boot at all. You should look at IDE drivers maybe.
