I’am currently monitoring some RB750G running 6.0rc5. I’am confused about RX/TX drops and was wondering what can cause these?
#1: TX Drops on PPPoE
This RB750G has a couple thousand TX Drops on a PPPoE interface, the ether5 which were the DSL modem is attached to has no TX Drops and just 2 RX Drops. Any idea how TX Drops can happen on a PPPoE link, any chance to monitor/debug this?
#2: RX Drops on ether
The other RB750G has DSL modems attached at ether2-ether5, no RX/TX Drops on the PPPoE interfaces bound to the ports. But two ethernet ports attached to a H3C switch (VLAN for the DSL-modem which is in another building) showing RX drops. Same question, any chance to monitor/debug this and any hint to resolve?
