What can i do when my competitor play unfair?

Hello to everybody.
I have big problems with my competitor - he play very unfair - he cloning MAC adress and SSID of my base station, and my link seems to be broken until I change the MAC of WLAN card. WPA2 and mac security does nothing…
What can I do with this? SSID hiding or what (MAC will be still visible??) ??
Sorry for poor english, and THX for any help…

What are your CPE devices?

use management protection - in security profile of wireless at lower position.. add “password” to ap an client side..
hide ssid..
use encryption - wep/wpa
use superchannel and set higher or lower frequency than “basic” 11a channels
create VLANs at radio and ethernet and set adress and routing on vlans

you could stick a big hammer into his equipment, and do exactly what he does. You could open his AP boxes and leave them open in rain. If you have a prism card there are some linux tools to force clients to deauth from the ap. Play with his clients like he’s doing with yours.

Or you could meet them and talk about this problem like normal people. Everyone knows how to break things, but a very few know how to fix them .

I would suggest you to cut one of the UTP cable nicely (either 1,2,3, or 6).
make sure you cut in the middle or some where which become his need to install a new cable.

if the client devices are all MikroTik, you can use Nstreme. Sticking a needle into his antenna cable will not solve problems, it will only make him use more radical methods  in the end it could turn out into a gang war

take out the cap of their omni anntennas and fill them with water. take care to do it when it rains. and then put the cap back on.
if they have an air conditioner at their shelter, block the fan with a stick or something, or let all the gas out of the tubing

come on, there are hundreds of things you could do, but i’m not sure it’s the best thing

is it Legal cloning MAC and SSID? I had same problem…

YES it certainly is illegal.

For a couple of months I was plagued. Until 2 weeks ago.

I simply got the car out, put a RB433 in it with Ubiquity card, used a direction finding attenna;

Then observed SNOOPER, he had cloned the MAC of a real customer, broken the ARP static list and finally broken the largest of WEP keys.

It took no more than an hour to trace him.

We both appeared in court last week, the case was adjurned waiting for Police specialists:

In the meantime, he retaliated after the hearing, sabotaging using a deuth attack, bringing down an entire AP.

The Guardia Civil were here at my house to witness the assault.

Now I am to prepare documents to notify the courts of the financial damage to me and there is more action due soon.

I cannot post more as it is ongoing.
