What can RB600A do?

I have an old RB600A. Since he has powerpc 400MHZ (533MHz), what can he do with modern NV2 links? Today there area lot of mipsbe 680HMz, but how can powerpc be compared with mipsbe.

BR…

I use a RB600A for a NV2 link: 210 mbit/s TCP.
Device is running RouterOS 6.1 and connection tracking disabled.
To give it a bit more headroom I overclocked it to 533, but 400 is sufficient (90+ % CPU utilization).

Great. I will use it. How did You made 210mbit?

Nothing special..
2 stream (dual-polarity antennas), good signal (-55dB), 5ghz, 40mhz channels. Tested using iperf.

Does the RB600A GB ports work for you? Mine will not act against any MT GB capable port facing RB600A.

Yes. This RB600A is connected to a RB1100Hx2 working perfectly at 1g.
Until a few months ago it was connected to a RB450G, it would sometimes go back to 100mb.

Depends on the POE Injector. Take care the POE-Port of RB600A is very sensitiv to static discharge. Nearly all of our RB600A have damaged ether1 but work ok on ether2.

I am using a Phihong POE36U-1AT-R 802.3at injector since the day of installation.
