what defines "invalid connection"

I am just curious, but what defines a connection as “invalid” ?

I have searched, but I haven’t found anything that satifies as an answer

Quote from the Training:

Connection state is a status assigned to each packet by conntrack system:

New > – packet is opening a new connection
Established > – packet belongs to already known connection
Invalid > – packet does not belong to any of the known connections
Related > – packet is also opening a new connection, but it is in some kind relation to already known connection

Connection state ≠ TCP state

Suggestion - attend a training

i wish i could. If they would come to this half of the continent i would.

Regards,

I wrote several times but didn’t get reply .. though I still hope that a MUM arranged in Bangladesh and I would be glad if MK give me permission to arrange it in BD.

We will possibly have a MUM in Dubai, if that’s close enough.
