What does -SP mean in the Tx/Rx Rate column

WinBox: wireless → registration
Column: Tx/Rx Rate

Sometimes I see a suffix of -SP after the speed. Does anyone know what the means?

Ok lad… SP = Short Preamble, and if you see some without it on the same interface means that the interface in question is working with both preambles (long+short). Cheese slice.

Well, thank you very much for the quick reply!

A short follow-up:

Do you suggest setting the interface to “long preamble” vs “long + short”, to force everyone to use the long version?

I would like to suggest for B only use long preamble only, for G only use short preamble only… for B+G mix you could leave it short, but some old B only cards coldnt connect while the AP is in short only. Just if you really need both preambles it could be used.
