What happened to Mikrotik Wireless?

Dear Mikrotik,

what happened to the Wireless Speed we had in 2010-2014?
Your own 802.11n hardware is outperforming your 802.11ac in most cases.

Today we Test Ligowave NFT 3ac Lite, they easily outperform my CAP AC / WAP AC and 4011 in all disciplines

  • 2G Coverage and throughput is better
  • 5G Coverage and throughput is better
    (We have 3 CAP AC mounted here, i just disabled CapsMan an setup two new Ligowave, the Coverage with this 2 Ligowave is better then with 3 CAP AC)
  • INFINITY Controller Config is easier as Capsman.

If i´m sitting on my Desk, CAP AC ist about 5m away with one wall.
CAP AC shows my MacBook with -75 ( 5 Ghz 5180), NFT 3ac Lite shows my MacBook with -63… ( 5 Ghz 5180)
Why the CAP ac is so bad in this Case?

The next thing we have problems with Apple Hardware and CapsMan, sometimes the Devices loss the wireless connection (Wireless Symbol is still there but no Data transfer possible) CapsLog ist showing nothing, the only thing what helps is Enable / Disable WiFi

You should make support tickets or separate topics for each of these issues.
In general, there are no known issues with wireless right now. You can get really good speeds with MacBook and cAP ac or RB4011 wifi model.

-supout from CAP AC and Caps Controller?

Your complaint is actually about signal. Did you compare speed too? Like I said, separate topic/ticket should be made, with more details.
