When the user almost reach the time limit, send an e-mail to the user.
The option to add the company logo and some other data.
The option to translate the user front-end (for checking time, volume balance, ect).
If it´s posible to show a pop-up when the user logs in (via pppoe).
Option to block an user and to show a billing page (customized) when the user logs in.
An option to create packages based on time periods (half day, night) so the user could only use his 50 hours only by the night or by the day, ect.
Diferent access groups, so an employee can only add o view some items of the radius.
On user parameters, option to add a dynamic chain on MT firewall, or an option to add diferent kinds of services (http, all, pop3 smtp, ect).
Reports by total daily traffic, user daily traffic.
Reports of total payments by user.
In user front-end, option to change the password, request more time-data.
In user, option to set his MAC address.
Option to create advertisements pop-ups (if it´s posible…).
Exporting to pdf or xls the reports, the user list, etc.
Backup and restore the configuration.
Option to set the user limit-at, max-limit, burst, queue priority and parent queue.
In user options add total limit value (up+down).

I have a suggestion… A US based server so it doesn’t take 5 minutes for the page to load when trying to enter in data!

Or is this a beta test for the RADIUS server you eluded to in other posts?

that project has been replaced by the user manager.

this will be a package on routeros and has more features than the old hotspot manager

option to set hostname for user to produce DNS entry when he gets IP to allow user to be accessibel not just by an IP but memonic address
options to add custom fields for users
option to access user database from outside, to allow using it for custom applications
option to add user’s IP to specific Address list
option to create simple queue (even if usermanager is used just to set ip address to user) and set all properties of simple queue

doesn’t work in Safari Version 2.0.3 (417.9.2) Mac OS X 10.4.6 PPC

You can login and the left hand frame (with the menu) loads but the right hand frame never loads. Clicking any of the buttons (except logout) has no effect.

I need it urgently and don’t want to waste time setting up and learning freeradius if Mt’s is due soon.

Hi there,

Will the User manager have the ability to control PPPoE clients useage based on data not time connected. Say 256K up and down untill they reach total data of 1gb for that month cycle, then either disconnect them or slow them to a lesser throttled speed say 64k up and down. Email notification would also be good
