What happens if I disable OSPF?

My “tik techy” is out this week and I have a newly deployed RB that goes down for 1 to 5 minutes at a time. The log says that it is looking for the IP address that is the only instance listed under the neighbors tab of the OSPF menu. I would like to disable the OSPF until the tech gets back and have the RB function as just a router for now. If I disable the entry named default on the instance tab (it is the only entry) will the RB continue to function as a router or will it go down and I loss all access to it remotely?

you will most likely lose connectivity if there is no routs to it, is it a flat or routed network?
