What is difference between R52Hn and R52N-m?

The look identical in specs.

Thank you, Jeff

you can look up the specs at

http://routerboard.com/

http://routerboard.com/R52Hn

http://routerboard.com/R52NM

R52Hn has 2 dbm higher receive sensitivity in 5ghz.

R52nm has 1 or dbm higher receive sensitivity in 2.4ghz.

R52Hn also has a built in heatsink / and a thicker RF shield than the nm. R52nm has no heatsink.

R52nm uses less than 2 Watts R52Hn uses up to 7 Watts

R52nm is physically smaller by a few mm in height.

R52nm is rated at 12Kv lightning protection R52Hn is rated at 10kV.

You can vew both .pdf files and compare at the above links, but thats about all the differences.

Lazerusrm, thank you for your response.

It’s that they are relatively close in most specifications, other than power and lightning I wonder why they both exist?

Maybe MikroTik can offer an insight…?

Oh well, onward…

why do you think they are “close” in specs? 2dBm difference is huge.

Look at the tx power over the all of the speeds. The R52HN is a much more powerful card.
